VDEC Approach
VDEC developed the project's final as-built BIM environment by reviewing approved construction drawings, shop drawings, redlines, RFIs, site markups, and available installation information.
The team identified differences between the original design models and construction records, particularly within MEPF routing, equipment locations, shafts, plant rooms, ceiling zones, and service corridors.
Where available, field verification and point-cloud information were used to validate existing conditions.
The updated multidisciplinary models were then coordinated and reviewed for geometry, system information, equipment data, and model-to-drawing consistency.
Outcome
